I took this photo on my first winter and first real snow in Boston.
I’m posting as a part of the 6th page, 6th photo flickr meme that Whitney Hoffman tagged me on. The photo is pretty nice, I did adjust the colors some and it makes me want snow in Boston even more now! Sounds like Saturday night/Sunday is a good bet and I’m looking forward to it.
Let’s see. I tag Ann Handley (aka MarketingProfs), Beth Harte, Mack Collier and Neil Bearse! Get to work ya’ll!

I’m really fortunate to have a great community of people, friends, and family around me. This past Thanksgiving weekend made me consider that a lot. These are scary times, especially with the government finally admitting to the recession that we’ve been in for a while now.
However, changes happen with life, life doesn’t stop for anything.
This morning I resigned from Vibemetrix, effective immediately. It’s been a pleasure working with the company but seemingly we have different paths laid before us to the future.
As for my future, my virtual assistant shingle is out again. If you’re looking for some help, I’m only an email away. I am still interested in pursuing a social media/marketing position here in Boston or via telecommute. If your company is looking, please let me know.
The new year is certainly going to be interesting!

I usually post a long list here about what I’m thankful for. There’s so much that I’m bound to forget something so instead I’d like to give you a short message to remember year round.
Every day is a day to say thank you to those in your life that’s made it a little better. To be grateful for what you have and who you have in your life.
Be safe and have a warm day.
Happy Thanksgiving!
(To my non-USian friends, hope you have a quieter day because we’re not clogging up the tubes, but eating Turkey!

My friend, C.C. Chapman often has brain dumps on his blog and they seem to help him move forward with his day. I really wanted to post here this morning and not about any particular thing so I’m going to try his method.Speaking of C.C., I got my Akoha deck in the mail yesterday and am super excited to have it in my possession. Have you checked out Akoha? It’s a type of pay it forward mission, you get a card, you give a card along with what action/gift/thought it has for a mission to a friend/person. Once they get the card they can go to the website and enter the details, get karma points and then pay it forward to the next person. What a unique way of connecting strangers. I love things like this.
Last night was the second Boston Blog Marketing Meetup, lots of new people to the scene, most I’d never met before. We looked at blogs and made some suggestions to the bloggers about how to get their blogs in better shape and take them into the future. I can’t wait for next month’s meet

This is my personal look at the sister post on Vibemetrix company blog.
We are not our past. Biography is not destiny. the past does not equal the future. - Tony Robbins
Each of us have different paths that have lead us to the place we are now, we’ve made choices that move us away from the bad choices in our path.
We each have strong motivation to make the world a different place. Small slice of the world or a big one. A better place or a bad place. All take a strong motivation to see them through.
One of the best examples of that is our President Elect Barack Obama. He grew up without a father and made some bad choices along the way. He admits these choices were his “greatest moral failing”.
He didn’t accept that as his destiny however, but changed his path, worked hard, found his motivation. To make the world a better place for people and now for Americans. He continues on that path with change.gov.
We can’t all become the President-Elect of the United States but we all have an opportunity to realize our destination in life. The map that leads us there takes focus that sets us on the path we choose, the determination to reach the points on the path.
Sometimes we stray from that path. Sometimes we stra
