Don’t the characters from the Japanese manga, “Death note” look awfully familiar?…Could Raito (i.e. “Light” left) be Rain and a death god (right) be his ex-producer JYP (right)? Although Rain’s character is too cute to look like him, JYP’s resemblance of the purple monster is frighteningly spot on.
Maybe “Death note” should be their new drama where both Rain and media whore JYP can attempt to take over the world. Sounds better than this.

Olympic gold medalist cutie, Choi Min-ho has reached a milestone in his relationship with his girlfriend-the 100 day mark.
Being the very few to admit to have a girlfriend (because we ain’t that interested in athletes and their love lives), the Judo athlete admitted to the fact on a KBS television program recently.
So, now is the time for a bit of a cultural lesson- what does 100 days mean in a relationship in Korea? Well, it means that the couple are exclusive and will not date other people. How? Well, they will exchange “couple rings” which are worn on the marriage finger (left hand, 4th finger). However, the ironic thing is that guys will wear the ring when going “steady” but will not wear their wedding rings when married. Strange huh?
Oh, and let’s see….100 days….. gold medalist who is set for life….could the girl be a gold digger?

The KBS drama, “You are my destiny,” starring Girls Generation member, Youna and Park Jae-jung (left), has come to an end.
The 178 episodes have attracted almost 40% of the viewers in Korea (including our parents!) but have attracted alot of critcs as well. But who really cares about the critics so long as the people are watching it, right?
The drama story is typical, revolving around the 2nd generation chaebol who marries a very poor but girl (played by Youna) who tries to please her overbearing and tyrant mother-in-law (nothing new).
Youna picked up the Best New Actress and Popularity Awards at the 2008 KBS Entertainment Awards.

The boys of Big Bang are all doing their own thang.
Taeyang made a breakaway last year with his solo act, then T.O.P. as a featured artist hooking up with Uhm Junghwa, Daesung pursued musicals and television, Seungri is “crack”ing his way into a solo act and now the last member and purportedly with a talent for composing and writing music, G-dragon, will be set free as a solo act as well.
With a perchant for fur and leopard print, the slim jim has been working on his debut solo album for the past year. And the new album is set for release in April 2009. Watch out for it.
