- … And Whiskers on KittensJuly 2

I want to give a shout-out to some awesome people that have been really supportive and who I am so glad that I’ve met.
These are all people that I only know virtually - I haven’t met a single one of them in real life. Maybe someday I will.
I can’t possibly include everyone so for now I’ve listed 10.
- If it hadn’t been for Siel from green LA girl, I might not have started freelancing. She sent me a message about working on her site when I was still just thinking about it but hadn’t really started yet. Siel has a wonderful site full of green information for the LA area. She also gives away two freebies each week, so if you live in the US you should definitely head over there and check it out..
- Rick, from helpmerick, has a great site with all sorts of computer related tips, recommendations and how-to’s. The information is geared toward beginners but is still really useful. I only met Rick recently but he has quickly become a great online friend and has been very supporti
- gReactions: A Firefox Add-on to show Comments and Tweets in Google ReaderJuly 1
-
7/1/09 - Please note that this add-on is not yet compatible with Firefox 3.5, which was released yesterday.
Sometimes people complain that comments aren’t included in their feed reader. I’ve often wondered how hard it is to click from the feed reader to the actual article, but maybe those extra clicks use up a lot of time. I know that if an article in my feed reader really interests me, I WANT to visit the site to read it.
There is a solution to this, however, if you use Firefox and Google Reader. There is a great Firefox add-on that will add comments and tweets to the posts in Google Reader.
gReactions is an experimental Firefox add-on that will integrate comments with Google Reader.Install the add-on like any other and then restart Firefox. When you open Google Reader you should see the following at the bottom of each item.

-
Saturday is Independence Day here in the United States. People have cookouts and watch fireworks. It’s a big deal here in Philly and is usually a 7-10 day celebration called Welcome America.
As I’ve mentioned before, I’m not a big fan of most holidays. But I thought I would do a search and see what kind of Independence Day and patriotic themes were available. Here are 6 of the best ones that I located.

Another month has coming to a close. It seems that time just keeps going by faster and faster. Summer has finally set in here and I am trying to keep cool without air conditioning. Once it hits the high 90’s with 90% humidity, I may have to turn it on. But for now I’m trying to conserve money and energy.
- The Benny Hillifier - Ok. This is super silly. You can take any video and have the Benny Hill theme song play over it. It actually synced really well with Tom Cruise’s dance from Risky Business. I am not a fan of the Benny Hill show but the music always makes me laugh.

- WordPress 2.8 Theme Editor ReviewJune 25
-
One of the new features in WordPress 2.8 is the Syntax Highlighting in the theme and plugin editor. This was one of the features that I was eager to use as it would be more like the way I currently work. The syntax highlighter color codes the components of the code and numbers lines. It also includes a tag/code documentation lookup.
But I have to admit that I am a little disappointed. I’m not quite sure what I expected but I don’t like using it as much as I thought I would. After testing is for a couple of days I’m going to continue to pretty much work in my text editor, Notepad++.
Here are some of the reasons why I’m not all that excited about the new theme and plugin editor.

- The editor has some sort of delay when loading. Maybe this is my site or host but there seems to be a pause when loading the highlighting and the line numbering.
- The editor doesn’t have wrapping. I have to scroll over
