- Another FlyLady Alternative and First Clutter Diet Weigh InYesterday
-
Every Thursday, being on the Clutter Diet, I’m supposed to weigh in. This week I lost 24 Clutter Pounds! Sound like a lot? That’s nothin’! Sra_Nelson of the Crafty Conservative lost 99 clutter pounds.I’m thinking she’s going to be in the lead for winning the free year’s membership to Clutter Diet.
I was able to get through all my “meal courses” for the Clutter Diet this week. What I am getting stuck on is The Household Systems workbook…I’ve printed it out, in fact, I’m staring at it right now. But I just can’t seem to get through. I think deep down inside I know that when I complete it, I’ll have a plan to clean and well, I despise cleaning.
But I will soldier on because while my house isn’t a total sty, it’s got a few too many dust bunnies and schmutz around for my taste. I don’t want to be perfect, I want to improve. And gosh darn it, Clutter Diet is going to help me do that!
Some of you all liked the idea of the Clutter Diet but it wasn’t quite a fit. A few commented that I should
- Made Up Memories - A Fun Way for Kids to Share PhotosYesterday
-
We’ve all seen jib-jab and that dancing elf from last year on Best Buy’s website.
But Made Up Memories has done one better with it’s fun photo sharing tool designed with kids in mind.
All you have to do is upload your child’s photo, adjust the size using the built in tool, and voila, within seconds you’ll have a princess fairytale, the season’s hottest toy news segment, or an animated superhero comic strip. Starring your child!
I tried it this morning with my son’s picture and I think it came out super cute.
We chose to do the Super Hero comic strip.
Made Up Memories makes photo sharing fun, easy, and with kids in mind. We’ll be sharing our Super Hero with family and friends for sure.
If you decide to try it, please post your Made Up Memories creation in the comments below so we can all laugh and giggle together.
P.S. I’m also trying out their Memeo Share product too, it let’s you not only share photos but the people you share them with can upload, download, and print your photos…for free. This is great for grandparents too.

- Lunchbags That Will Make Your Handbag Jealous!December 3

My good friend, Lori Falcon of A Cowboy’s Wife and My Wooden Spoon, asked me if I’d like to check out the new lunchbags by Mario Batali and Elle, I was interested. When I actually went to check them out, I secretly started wondering if they could double as a handbag.
These lunchbags are gorgeous! It was hard to choose just one but I finally went with Persimmon Floral Insulated Collapsible Tote. I like my handbags to make a statement so why not be the same way about a lunch bag? On the outside it looks like a designer bag, on the inside your food will be kept chilled or warm, depending on the contents because of the full insulation.

And by Santa, I mean my awesome and amazing husband. For Christmas this year, my dear hubs is getting my blog redesigned with matching logo (and a few extra related goodies if need be). I’ve had a lot of fun using paint.net and iStockphoto to take the DIY approach but now that my blog is growing, I think it’s time to treat it to some professional love.
However, I have no idea where to start as far as who will do it for me or where to begin!
So, I decided to have a little fun with it and get some input from you, my readers, whom I blog for in the first place.
With that said, may…

For the rest of the week I will be taking nominations for the blog designer for my blog’s overhaul and logo. Please put your nominations in the comments section. But make note, I will only consider those designers that have a portfolio of work online or a website that I can review.
On Saturday, I will go over all the options and narrow the choic

Guest Author, Tucker
Hi. My name is Tucker and I am taking over my Mommy’s blog today. My Mommy knows a lot about shopping but I know a lot about preschoolers. Why? Because I am one! I’m going to share with you my holiday picks - what I am wishing for and great gift ideas for preschoolers to get for their parents.
Every year after we put up the Christmas tree over Thanksgiving weekend, one of Santa’s elves comes to our house to make sure I’m being good. Every night, our elf (I named him Leroy last year), zips back to the North Pole to give Santa a full report. I have so much fun trying to figure out where Leroy is keeping watch
since he moves every night. I highly recommend Elf on the Shelf
