- Rename Files 1.3.1December 2
- Have you ever tried to edit the filenames of pictures taken with your digital camera or snapped using a webcam, or modified a big collection of filenames If you had, then you know how tedious the job is, especially if you have a lot to work with. This utility script is very helpful if you are in such quandary. You can do a batched renaming of files using a supplied batch filename or extracted from a text file of filenames, or opt to change the files individually.
- MakeSentFromiPhoneReadable 1.0December 1
- This script takes every (unreadable) iPhone or iPod Touch originated email message in the sent items folder of MS Entourage, and turns it into a new sent item while stripping the non-standard exchange header and deleting the unreadable original items. The resulting messages are readable versions of the originals.
- EditTags 1.0November 28
- A script to add to or change entry tags for those entries within a chosen folder or folders.
- ChangeEntryTags 1.0November 28
- Tag Editor/Eraser (for all tags in the Journal, not a specific folder) This script will remove leading spaces in Tags (which I seem to get there periodically) and eliminate duplicate tags on any single entry (not within the Journal which may have many instances of a tag). To change a tag select it, then enter what it should become. To remove a tag wherever it occurs, leave the change to dialog blank (don't enter anything). The editor is case sensitive.
- Folder protect password SFen.01November 28
- Here is a small scipt that I finally made after 3 days of frenetic searches in AppleScript! I just began learning this application 3 days ago… It might not be the best script ever, but it works fine and does exactly what I wanted it to do. If anyone can improve and enhance this script and make it better, please, let me know. To use it, I first placed it in the User's/Lib/Scripts and then, selecting the folder I want to aplly the scirpt to, I choose Attach a Folder Action and select the script. If you want to use it, you will have to put your own password, by opening the script first and change the 'your password here' by your own. WHen the choosen Folder is launch by a double click (or otherwise), a window opens and asks for a password. IF the answer is right, it will open the Folder. Otherwise (Else) it will give you a message 'Refused' and close the Folder. I you try to click on whatever there is in that Folder, nothing will happen until your answer que password question. Sorry for my bad English writing, I'm French… Thanks for your help and suggestions. Dan
