- Saving doesn't workToday
- Dear YahooPipes developers! Saving still doesn't work, is there any fix for this problem? -- Thanks
- How to find the total number of subscribersYesterday
- Hi, Simple question. Look around but could not find a clue. Is there a way to find the number of subscribers to a Pipe? If so, how? If not, that would be a really cool feature, I believe.
- Pipes not part of yahoo updatesDecember 3
- Okay, I have an idea. and I hope it gets implemented soon. I was checking around my yahoo profile and i recognized that pipes isnt represented in the list of yahoo services for updates, and that is when it hit me. Listen, most folks on yahoo dont use pipes. But, for those of us that do, wouldn't it be cool if a pipe developer could have an UPDATE MODULE Input: only one which is the feed to be updated Output:the feed itself, it would not change the feed Condition:must be linked on the path to the PIPE OUTPUT module, feed must be valid, of course. Action:whether the pipe is being used or not, it reads the pipes feed for new updates and if it finds one, it adds it to the users updates on yahoo profiles. in terms of development first stage:every pipe user should be able to use the UPDATE MODULE once for only one PIPE. [NOTICE:only one pipe of any pipe user should be able to use the UPDATE MODULE and in that pipe use it only once. AND, this fits with YAHOO PROFILES security concerns as the yahoo pipes service can be added to the update lists and have its settings changed to none, all , or my connections] second stage and beyond:up to yahoo if you go for it Well, I hope you consider this.
- Limit Description to Two Sentences with RegexDecember 3
- I'm terrible with expressions and I just want to limit the description of my pipe's output to two sentences and then the period, question mark, or exclamation point. This would be for each description of each feed item. Here is my pipe with two sources and sorted by date. http://pipes.yahoo.com/pipes/pipe.info?_id=fk44SFPB3RGJYBrbBRNMsA Thanks!
- Tips/Suggestions needed on a CafePress pipeDecember 2
-
Hi everyone-
I have created a pipe to grab a cafepress store page to use on a site. It works great in FF, Safari, Chrome, doesn't show up at all in IE (I seem to have the most problems with IE - is there a trick?).
Though I have many questions, my first is a design issue. On any cafepress page, there are a number of similar code snippets:
- . When these are brought into my page, the
- becomes a bulleted item (since that's how I have it in my CSS). What's the best way to remove the bullets in a Pipe? http://www.cafepress.com/Mosaic_Project is the CafePress page. Thanks.
