Terra Haute, Indiana (The Weekly Vice) -- Fernando Gutierrez-Cabrera, 20, and Dawn Gutierrez, 20, have been arrested after police discover their 10-month-old daughter was repeatedly beaten, broken, burned and tortured.
Police arrested Fernando Gutierrez-Cabrera last weekend on charges of battery resulting in serious bodily injury, child neglect resulting in serious bodily injury, child neglect resulting in bodily injury, child neglect and domestic battery.
Police say Fernando repeatedly abused his 10-month-old daughter, breaking multiple bones in her body. Investigators also say he tortured the little girl by heating up a box of rice and then burning the child's legs with the rice. Keep in mind this is still just a baby.
In a new development to the case, police arrested Dawn Gutierrez on Wednesday on three counts of child neglect. As authorities led her towards a patrol car in handcuffs, Dawn stated that she was "sorry" she didn't get away from [Fernando].

Matawan, New Jersey (The Weekly Vice) -- Lisa Glide, a 35-year-old drama teacher at Old Bridge High School in Matawan, New Jersey has been arrested on charges that she had a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old student.
According to Middlesex County Prosecutors, an investigation was launched on November 25 after authorities received information alleging that Glide became sexually involved with a student in February, while he was 17-years-old.
Authorities arrested Glide on Wednesday on multiple felony charges including 2nd-degree sexual assault and 2nd-degree child endangerment.
Investigatos say the sexual activity began in February while the boy was still a student at the school. He graduated from the high school in June.
Glide, who resides in Howell Township was booked into the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center. Bail has not yet been established in the case

Clermont, Florida (The Weekly Vice) -- Jacqueline Stokes, a 41-year-old Lake Wales, Florida woman was arrested on a felony theft charge after she allegedly broke a security officer's nose after she was caught shoplifting.
According to Clermont authorities, Stokes and her husband were shopping inside an area Wal-Mart Sunday afternoon when security officer Eric Dillard observed the woman stuffing merchandise in a Wal-Mart bag before strolling out of the store without paying for the items.
When the security officer stopped the couple and asked them to step back inside the store, both allegedly attempted to flee. The security officer then grabbed the woman's arm, but when the officer attempted to bring her back to the security office, she allegedly hit him in the nose, according to the arrest report.

Sheboygan, Wisconsin (The Weekly Vice) -- Christina M. Hephner, a 24-year-old Neenah, Wisconsin woman was arrested after allegedly attacking a man who had pulled over to check a low tire. Accused him of being a drug dealer.
Sheboygan authorities arrested a woman who confronted a man Thanksgiving day who had pulled his vehicle over to attend a tire low on air pressure.
When authorities arrested Hephner, they found her intoxicated with a blood alcohol level of 0.22. Hephner told authorities she had been visiting her child's father in Sheboygan who had allegedly been talking about selling drugs. The couple engaged in an argument until the father reportedly asked her to leave.

Clearwater, Florida (The Weekly Vice) -- Michael A. Villafana, a 31-year-old licensed practical nurse employed by a nursing home, called in sick so he could rob it the same day.
According to police, Villafana called in sick to his employer - the Highland Pines Nursing Home, located in Clearwater on November 26. Later that day, the nursing home also reported to police that it had been robbed by a masked gunman who demanded narcotics.
Investigators say the robber used an employee access code to get inside the facility, located at 111 S. Highland ave. while armed with a 9mm handgun. Nursing home staff told authorities the gunman made off with several narcotics including hydrocodone, methadone, morphine and oxycodone. The robber then allegedly used the same employee code to exit the building.
