Picasa Web Album LogoIf you’re a Mac user, then this is a good news for you. Now with the latest update, Google’s Mac team has released Picasa Web Albums Uploader. The update contains the ability to export movies from iPhoto ‘08 in an easy manner.

Furthermore the update also contains the geotagging information in the photos. This means that if you got a camera that adds GPS data to the snapshots then you will be able to see them mapped inside Picasa Web Albums automatically.

On Mac, Picasa Web Albums Uploader on Picasa Web Albums is considered to be the most adequate way to share photos and most probably movies as well. The current download is available as an iPhone export plugin for iPhoto and a standalone application, just like in the previous versions. You can get the latest version here. To use the uploader you need to have a Mac OS X 10.4 or later.
