Here we go with round two of IntoMobile’s weekly podcast, The Signal!

The launch of the Nokia XpressMusic 5800 (a.k.a The Tube) dominates this week’s headlines, along with a batch of other Nokia announcements made in tandem. Sony Ericsson’s downward spiral and rough times for the American economy are also on the plate. Folks have been dubious of the iPhone’s claim to “real internet” since the get-go, but with Flash support announced to be in the works this week, that doubt may soon change. No interviews this episode for the sake of keeping things timely. In fact, we ran to about an hour talking about rumors, but just went with the headlines for the final product. If you guys would like a longer show, leave a comment, and we’d be more than happy to leave it all in. For that matter, we welcome all suggestions to make sure we get the formula just right, so speak up!

We’re still getting rolling, so it’s not up on iTunes just yet, but stick around, we should have everything settled in by next week. Will and I run down the big stuff, including the T-Mobile G1 launch, but we also have a chat with Scott Webster from AndroidGuys.com about his impressions of Android, its future, and how the new mobile platform will mature. We also take some time to talk with Sean O’Leary from TapRoot about their foray out of the white label game and into consumer software. Their Walking Hotspot is very innovate, but we’re wondering how handy it really is to carry around a Wi-Fi router in your pocket…
