A Killer Resource For Job HuntersToday

Internet is full of lists. Pretty much every blog seems to have a list for one reason or the other. Some do it for the sake of traffic and some are quite useful. As we were browsing the web we came across a list that seems to have come at a very right time. As we all know people are getting laid off left and right. There is absolutely no job security at the moment, well there never was but it seems to be getting worst day by day. However, there are plenty of jobs out there, I guess its just a matter of going out and hunting them down. Gone are the days when you would have to walk everywhere looking and applying for jobs. 21st century job hunters sit at their home, fire up their computers and apply.

We found a resource post that seems to list pretty much all the good job boards or job search sites out there. Here are a few of them listed directly from the post :

Hound
: Hound shows its members jobs from every employer website it can find in the United States and throughout the world. It is the most powerful job-search engine in existence and powers several job boards. Recruiters use Hound to track down potential jobs for their clients.

Apple Products That Don’t Exist But MightToday

PC World folks are always onto something. Ever since I was young I have been turning to them for latest on technology news and information. Recently they compiled a list of gadgets that apple doesn’t have yet but would be cool if they did and I have to say some of these would really be pretty cool. Seriously a tribook would be awesome and I am sure if they came out Jason would once again jump on board and buy us all one ;-) .

Take a look at these images. The products that you see below don’t exist yet but now that PC World has given them a slight idea of what users might like, we migh be able to see them sometimes this year or may be never, who knows….

Digg Tools That Will Help You Digg BetterYesterday

I get to talk to a lot of the top users over at Digg. This is important because the Digg algorithm is always in a constant state of tweak (a statement that can be construed properly several different ways). It changes as fast as, if not faster than, Google and other search engines. Two questions always pop up with either me asking top users or other users asking me:

“What does it take to get to the front page?”

The answer has two parts: time and tools. We can go into the time issue later, but for now, let’s assume that you have the time. The second question is:

“What are the right tools?”

There are dozens of lists of Digg tools out there. Most of them are nice and quaint, but do top users really use them. Normally, no. Here are the tools that they do use. Some are obviously loose interpretations of the word “tools” but anything that helps to achieve the goal of hitting the front page often should be listed.

Great Sources

Bottom line, some sources hit more easily than others. It’s an unfair social media world, but a story posted on sites like HuffPo, Cracked, and
