- CES Ultimate Blogger Dinner-What’s a Noob To Do?Today

Tonight starts off my first Consumer Electronic Show (CES) experience with a bloggers networking party known as the Ultimate Blogger Dinner.The party will be held Wednesday (tonight), Thursday and Friday at the Aquaknox inside The Venetian. Hosted by Social Media Club and Lenovo, with an open bar, open Wifi and even an open kitchen, it’s promising to be the party to be at! They will also be shooting a daily recap of CES that will be streamed live on Ustream also.
I’m trying to decide what “open wifi” means. Should I bring my laptop and sit in a corner and blog, or should I be up meeting and networking with other bloggers? Or maybe a little of both?
What do you think? Have you attended one of these events before? Maybe @chrisheuer or @kristiewells are around and can help me understand this event a little better.

In December of 2000 I got my second tattoo. I got it on my lower back, because at that time it was a pretty cool spot to get one, and they hadn’t coined the term “Tramp Stamp” yet. (LOL!) I’ve always liked Cicely Mary Barker’s flower fairies, so I got her “Jasmine Flower Fairy” tattooed on my back.
It’s kind of weird having a tattoo on my lower back because I rarely ever see it, and half the time I just forget I have it. I’ve been out partying before and my shirt will come up a bit on my back and someone will say, “Hey, let me see your tattoo,” and I have to think for a second what the hell they are talking about.
The other day I had Michael take a picture of it, because it’s so hard for me to really see it up close for obvious reasons. I am far from a Cirque De Soleil performer, so I figured it would be cool to see it in on my wide screen monitor.
I was pretty disappointed. The colors have faded so much in the past nine years and it just doesn’t look as pretty as it use to. Her eye use to be so defined, and her little toe nails and fingernails were painted and so dainty looking.

A new year, and another birthday has passed. That means it’s time for change, and I decided to make my first big change of the year. I got 14 inches of my hair cut off. I’m still kind of trembling a bit, and I did start to hyperventilate as I could hear the scissors cutting through it.
It’s only hair and it does feel good shorter. I feel like a weight as been lifted off my shoulders… literally!
