Here’s the Warner Bros. 2009 Film Preview. And woohoo that "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" will finally hit theaters on July 17, 2009. "The Dark Knight" hits theaters — AGAIN! Zac Efron gets a chance to be young again in "17 Again" (uh, haven’t we seen that plotline in about 20 movies?), John Connor comes back in "Terminator: Salvation," Robert Downey, Jr. plays Sherlock Holmes, and Clint Eastwood is nowhere near retiring. He begins AND ends 2009 with new movies. Check out the lineup:

"New Moon" News: Vanessa Hudgens in for Leah?January 5

Rumors are swirling that Vanessa Hudgens, cutie from the "High School Musical" movies might be close to signing as the character of Leah in "New Moon."

Wow, I really can’t see her in the role at all. What do you guys think about this? Maybe I need to stop thinking of her in terms of the HSM movies, since those are pretty much a done deal. I mean, she has to move on, right?

The "Twilight" sequel is in the works, with Chris Weitz in as director and filming scheduled to begin in March. Look for the vampire movie to be theaters on Nov. 20, 2009.

"Bride Wars" – Preview & TrailerJanuary 5

"Bride Wars" hits theaters this Friday, Jan. 9, 2009. It stars Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway as best friends who become bitter rivals when their weddings end up scheduled on the same day. Talk about Bridezillas! Still, I’m ready for a light-hearted movie, so I really hope this one delivers. Plus, it’s rated PG for suggestive content, language and some rude behavior, so for a bride movie, that doesn’t sound too objectionable. Jennifer Aniston Prefers Dogs to MenJanuary 4

Jennifer Aniston says she prefers dogs to men, and really, who can blame her? She says a dog’s love is "conditional."

Sure, Aniston is currently dating rocker John Mayer, but it’s her two pooches, Norman and Dolly, who really hold the key to her heart.

"Men come and go, but there really is no relationship like the one you have with a dog, and then they don’t live as long as they should. You have to say goodbye way too soon. It’s just so sad. It makes me so sad. But their love is unconditional, and I love that."

John Travolta’s Son DiesJanuary 2

John Travolta’s son, Jett, died while vacationing with Travolta and wife Kelly Preston in the Bahamas, according to a TMZ.com report.

As of 5:15 PM ET, police issued details noting that Jett was last seen going into the bathroom at their private suite at the Old Bahama Bay Resort sometime yesterday. His body was discovered by the caretaker, Jeff Michael Kathrein, at 10 AM today; attempts to revive him were unsuccessful, and he died at the scene.

The report says that Jett suffered from seizures, and an autopsy is being performed to determine the exact cause of death.
