QuestionsJune 1
Hello readers, I apologize for the delay in between posts. I am having a hard time getting motivation to post on my blog more frequently. I thought of a good idea that might help motivate me to post more frequently. I'd love for you readers that are curious about deaf/HoH lifestyles and/or sign language to email me a question or send me a question through the comments on this blog. For each question that is asked, I will post a vlog entry answering the question.

Other future plans are to post at least a weekly vlog entry that teaches a common phrase in sign language so that learners can use that phrase or rehearse it.

I'm accepting all and any suggestion that you have for my site. I'm not really going to be writing any more posts about deaf pagers because I have one and I am satisfied with it. I think deaf tech issues is what I want to focus on and also deaf issues in the north eastern Tennessee area too. Feel free to post any suggestions in the comments below.

My very first customer review, Sprint BlackBerry Pearl 8130April 14

Here's a vlog post about my new BlackBerry purchased last month, I give it a 8 out of 10. I'm very satisfied with the camera and messaging services. If there's anything I missed, please let me have it in the comments! Thanks!

UPDATE:

well it seems that we have some night owls on my blog.

The difference between the 8130 and the 8330 is that the 8130 has a suretype system meaning that each key has 2 letters assigned to it. So there's a big learning curve in adopting to the Pearl from a qwerty keyboard.

I ordered my BB Pearl from sprintrelaystore.com and am using the data-only plan. It is a steal because I am getting EVDO high speed internet access. And it allows for tethering to laptops at no extra charge.

One of my favorite things about the pearl is that it's so small and can easily fit in my pocket. It felt so weird transitioning from a sidekick to this because there was no bulky device in my pocket. it's very nice and very powerful for such a small device.

asking the Deaf community what smartphone is the best?March 16

Vlog post asking for suggestions for a good smartphone because my sidekick 3 broke a few weeks ago. Considering iPhones and blackberries. I'd like to get a forum started in the comments if possible.
