Do you like Kanye West?
You're an idiot.
How about his "track" called "Coldest Winter"? You know, that's the one that goes "Memories made in the coldest winter, goodbye my friend, will I ever love again?"
Try this: "Memories fade and the scars still linger, goodbye my friend, will I ever love again?"
That's right: it's Tears For Fears. It's called "Memories Fade".
This is almost as bad as that Notorious B.I.G. track which used the loop from "Notorious" by Duran Duran. I'm sure if I looked I could come up with PLENTY more. - remjte @ 2008-12-16T03:37:00December 16 2008

I didn't want to start a mini-war to nowhere, but I can't let this go either.
Someone wrote the following:
I am so tired of hearing about the Obama / Blagojevich "scandal." There is no scandal as far as Obama is concerned. The investigators have said he is not accused of any improprieties. On the tapes, Blagojevich continuously derides Obama for not going along with his scheme to sell the Senator's seat.
So why is the media still on this? Why are we constantly seeing "news" reports that talk about some connection between the two? Obama has been cleared by the people investigating this crime and by the audio tapes of the accused. Too bad the media wasn't this attentive while Bush destroyed our nation over the last 8 years.
My response (that I'm putting here and not there) ?
Yeah, it sucks when it's happening to YOUR guy, doesn't it? - Electoral College DayDecember 15 2008

Today's the day the electors vote for President and Vice President.
Is anyone else even remotely aware of this?
There's more to it than most people think.

Arguments for and against the system:

While the two-party system argument is useless in arguing for the Electoral College, not ONE of the arguments against it holds true merit.
National Popular Vote Interstate Compact
This would pledge all of a state's electors to the "winner" of the "national popular vote".

So far, 4 states (Maryland, New Jersey, Hawaii and Illinois) have signed this, yet no mention was made on their abiding by it in this election. Rep. Steve Tobacman (D-Detroit) of the 12th district - (not) Havin' ItDecember 10 2008
