Video Games Hurf DurfDecember 18 2008

Remember when this was a sketch blog?  Yeah, me neither.  While we're all waiting patiently for the next comic to come, here's some filler nonsense that involves a video game thing I found on the live-journal.  I have removed the dumb questions.

1) What was your FIRST video game console?
The NES.  Got it when I was 7, which I think would have been 1990.  It was very much a "family" console at the time; my dad and brothers and I would have extremely long Super Mario Bros. tournaments.

2) Name a few games you played on said console.
Mike Tyson's Punch-out, Mario Bros, Double Dragon 2, and the freain' Silver Surfer.  Silver Surfer was one of the best and ridiculously frustrating games on the NES.  The guy's supposed to be nigh-invulnerable and yet a fish can kill him with one hit.

3) Excluding handhelds, how many VG consoles do you own presently?
A Wii that I'm about to send to my brother (he needs it more than I do) and a PS3, which is a glorified Blu Ray player.

4) Were you a Street Fighter nut? Any character in particular?
Not so much.  It was good fun, but I was more into Virtua Fighter. 

5) Do you think Capcom is a FUCKING awesome company with kickass character designs?
Aside from Mega Man, I never got into Capcom all that much.

7) What's your favorite RPG/Action RPG?
Does Zelda count? I am goin to say Zelda because it's t

Hob - The EndOctober 23 2008

Jesus GOD, it's finally over. I hope you all enjoyed the Hob storyline; it's been one heck of a ride for me, let me tell you. I highly recommend going back to page one and read it through from the beginning.

Just so you know, I'm not going anywhere. The comic will take a bold new direction, with updates hopefully more frequent than they currently are. Also next week I'm unveiling an extra secret project that is a spinoff of DC.

Also, Attention San Francisco: I will be at the Alternative Press Expo Nov. 1st and 2nd, shilling wares and some brand new secret presents! Hope to see you there.
