Make Magazine produce weekly online video project guides, providing instructions on how to create various gadgets and experiments from household objects. I love watching the videos and the things these guys make are usually pretty useless but very fun.To celebrate the 1st anniversary of their 'Weekend Projects' series, they decided to build a jet using a jam jar.Since it was in some way relevant to jam (but overall just very cool), I thought i'd post it on the blog. You can check out the video here. - SuperJam on Sky News worldwide!December 30 2008

The SuperJam story was featured all around the world on Sky News this week, as a feature on 'the stories of 2008'.You can watch the video on the Sky News website here.It has certainly been an amazing year for SuperJam and, judging by the hundreds of emails from all around the world that have come flooding in after this feature, next year is going to be just as busy... - Orange & Passion Fruit SuperJamDecember 16 2008

SuperJam launched over eighteen months ago, with three original flavours. Following the massive success of the range, we've finally managed to develop a fourth flavour, Orange & Passion Fruit. One of the most common questions of the past couple of years has been 'Why don't you make marmalade?'. Well, after lots of recipes and all kinds of different ideas, this is a really fab tasting addition to the SuperJam range - available now at Asda and soon at Waitrose and everywhere else.. - Tea Cosy of The Week....December 14 2008

We've had a few great tea parties recently in Edinburgh and elsewhere, thanks for everyone who came along and made them so much fun!Folks are still very kindly sending in hand-knitted squares for October's 'knitathon'.We now have well over a thousand squares, which are currently being sewn together to make blankets for the Gwalior Children's orphanage in India, which is a wonderful charity that provides education, healthcare and love to disabled orphans. You can 'sponsor a square' online and donate some much-needed funds to the charity. This week's 'Tea Cosy of The Week' is a very classic floral number, kindly sent in by one of the local Edinburgh CSV-RSVP volunteer knitters. Please do feel free to send in a knitted tea cosy for use at our increasing number of tea parties all over the country - if it's a nice one, we'll write a wee story on the blog about it.. fame awaits.. - I won the Glenfiddich 'Spirit of Scotland' Entrepreneur Award...December 12 2008

Last night, I was very gratefully awarded this very prestigious award. Thanks very much if you were one of the folks who kindly took the time to vote online last month. It felt amazing even just to be recognised among the ranks of such incredibly talented, famous and successful people as Glasvegas, KT Tunstall, Mark Beaumont and James McAvoy. To win an award, in the Entrepreneur category, was very touching - since the winner was chosen by the public. I didn't really know what to say when I was invited to give a speech. I thanked my family for being so supportive and, of course, my Gran for teaching me to make jam in the first place. The overall winner of 'Top Scot' was Chris Hoy, the three-time Gold medal winning Olympian. The Scotsman editor, Mike Gilson, who presented the award to me, said: "Fraser's fearless mix of Scottish home cooking and business acumen embodies the spirit of young entrepreneurship". Very nice of him to say so.You can read all about the event and the other winners in
