Injoos is a collaboration platform that marries the power of web2.0 with knowledge management tools - and is delivered as a SaaS application.

The basic concept behind Injoos is to decrease the email clutter that goes around in any team and instead, focus on productivity by being the single point of usage for all things related to a project.

The site lets users create groups - one can join other communities based on interests (ranges from RFID to Startups etc), post news items to groups, discuss topics, manage files (i.e online version control) etc.

Think of Injoos as a twiki + whole lot of extra features — like polls/sharing, file management system, project management etc.

The basic version is free and the solution comes in hosted as well as onsite flavor (premium).

Feedback to Injoos team: Content seeding is badly done - once you register/login, the site looks more like a yahoo group clone with a lot of focus

Outlook Group President launches Pathfinder Publishing, Investments from Emergic Venture CapitalJanuary 6

Outlook magazine president, Maheshwar Peri has launched his own venture - Pathfinder Publishing, a publication dedicated to career and education space in India.

Rajesh Jain owns 10% stake in the publishing venture (he recently invested in Indian languages publishing house New Horizon Media Pvt. Ltd , started by Badri Sheshadri of Cricinfo) and the venture, according to him will have media convergence plans as well - i.e. Internet/Mobile and Print.

TringMe earlier launched flash based VoiceXML platform and the startup has now got more developer friendly with VoicePHP.

VoicePHP is not an extension to PHP, but is a voice platform that will serve as an alternative to VoiceXML.

In simple terms, VoicePHP is the same old PHP which now enables you to create voice applications. It’s not an extension to PHP or API; infact it’s a language - the same PHP which now outputs voice instead of text and also takes input as voice instead of text. In technical terms, it’s PHP whose standard text based input & output (stdio, stdout in programmer’s term) are replaced by voice equivalent

So essentially, any webapp written using voicephp can be integrated with any other
