Meat Beat Manifesto demos, as well as an instrumental version of the Perennial Divide album, Purge, entitled Archive Things 1982-88 / Purged. MBM's 9th studio album, Autoimmune, was released on April 7, 2008 in Europe via Planet Mu Records and on April 8, 2008 in the US and Canada via Metropolis Records. According to the band's website, Z-Trip is again collaborating on several tracks. The lead single, "Guns And Lovers" was released as a digital single via iTunes on March 18, 2008, while the track "Lonely Soldier" was released as a single via bleep.com. Loney, Dear isn't opening for Andrew at the NYC show (Dosh is), but Loney, Dear is playing every other 2009 Andrew Bird show just announced. Loney, Dear (I hate that comma in his name) is playing NYC soon though - in December with Melpo Mene.

Kranky]Kranky label-mates To Kill A Pretty Bourgeoisie and Boduf Songs (aka Mat Sweet, who lives in Southampton England) are going on a tour together that kicks off at this weekend's Brainwaves Festival in Boston.To Kill a Petty Bourgeoisie consists of Jehna Wilhelm, guitar and vocals, and Mark McGee, electronics and sound manipulation. Originally from Richmond, VA, the duo has been involved with this project for 4 years and has been supported by an ever-changing cast of players and musicians. They now reside in Minneapolis, MN where they run their own label, The Riley Bushman Recordings & Archives, which they use as an outlet to release various projects and collaborations. [
