BlackBerry Storm 9500 official update 4.7.0.85 availableToday

If you are a BlackBerry owner who lives for BlackBerry software update, CrackBerry has the latest fix for you and your BlackBerry smartphone.

Over on CrackBerry Forums the general feeling seems to indicate that Vodafone’s BlackBerry Storm 9500 seems to be doing a tad better after the update 4.7.0.85, better than the identically named update for the Verizon BlackBerry Storm which was leaked a while ago.

However, from the looks of it, Research In Motion hasn’t managed to hit every bug, so if update 4.7.0.83 or even 4.7.0.78 still isn’t giving the desired outcome then pop over to the source for the BlackBerry Storm 9500 4.7.0.85 update.

New Palm website but no sign of any PDAsToday

Palm has begun 2009 by the addition of an all new website, and maybe that’s not big news but when you consider this new Palm website has now been cleaned of practically all visible pages to do with traditional PDAs, which is basically what Palm made their name on its news.

The new Palm site isn’t unexpected though as Colligan announced back in 2008 that Palm was to move to a mobile phone only model.

So one could possibly assume as of now we won’t be seeing any more traditional PDAs coming out of Palm, and look forward to seeing just what mobile phones they can offer in the future.

LG CTO wearing the LG GD910 touch watch phoneToday

LG has come up with the LG GD910 3G touch watch phone, which is a vast improvement on other watch phones we’ve seen in the past, and looks more technologically advanced taking the mobile phone into the future.

LG’s CTO just happened to be wearing an LG GD910 touch watch phone at a press conference and the guys over at Engadget captured it on video.

The LG GD910 doesn’t actually look too bad on the wrist although personally I thought it looked a tad bulky, but in the video LG’s CTO gives a quick demo of sorts of it in action, so nip on over to the source to view the video.
