How do you support user who need two hands free, who will increasingly be carrying laptops/tablets objects – without increasing the risk of them leaving something behind? Today, assuming the laptop doesn’t fit in the bag – most bacterially disinclined users will place the flat object on toilet cistern. In this bathroom stall in Dubai Airport the bag hooks are particularly laptop friendly. The apparent precariousness of the object and the positioning of the hooks – next to the stall door, minimise the risk of leaving behind; it allows the clustering of objects in one place – making it easier to scan what needs to be taken when leaving; it is comfortably off of the (apparently dirty) ground; and there is minimal contact with the laptop – mentally and actually less likelihood of ‘bacterial’ contamination.

Out on the trail bike, stop in on a building materials supply yard where branches are clustered by thickness and stacked up around simple rectangular frames – the pocket of shade inside this occidental shelters becomes the perfect place to take respite from the intense midday heat.
This blows away anything I’ve seen in a art gallery in the past decade.

It’s striking how Tupac/Che/Marley-like the photos of Masood are.
