- 49th place for 27.500 dollarsYesterday

… I guess there´s not much more to say at the moment.
I know it´s a pretty good result, and an alright payday (btw. 1 minute later, I´d have been 48th for 30.000…), but still…
I´m a little sad, tired & exhausted.Oh, just one more thing -> thanks so much to everyone, who has been crossing his fingers for me!! I really appreciate it! Thanks for all your support - you guys rock!

You guys do a hell lot of fingers-crossing -> I really made it through day 2 and most importantly in the money!! 102 players are left in the field, and 17.500 dollars for me are already for sure! I start the day tomorrow with about 113.000 in chips - not great, but alright, considering I was already up to 200.000 and had to take some hits…
Thanks so much for all you guys rooting for me!
I need to sleep now…

Thanks for you all crossing your fingers, it seemed to work -> I survived a grueling 14 hours of day 1A, and will start into Day 2 with about 31.000 in chips

I did a little writeup (in german though) on my Poker Blog.
660 people started yesterday, and only about 180 survived, so I really feel good! It´s a day off today (since Day 1B is on today), so I´ll be enjoying the sun, and get ready for another 14 hours tomorrow (if I´m lucky…).
Btw. there are supposed to be over 1.400 players overall, building the pricepool up to over 6 million Dollars, and an estimated first place price money of 2.5 million! Not a bad payday for 5 days of “work”

25 degrees (celsius -> 75 degrees fahrenheit), a slight breeze… way to escape a lousy german winter

Ok, it´s partly cloudy today, but so what -> it´s the Bahamas Baby
If you don´t know yet - I´ll play in the 10.000 dollar buy-in PCA Carribean Adventure EPT Poker Tournament here at the lovely Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island (great name!) on the Bahamas.

I´m starting on Day 1A tomorrow, so keep your fingers crossed -> it will be a really hard tournament with over 1.200 players from all around the world competing for a 1st place price of over 2 million dollars! But this great island, and the awesome weather really make you worry less about winning the money -> it´s just a great vacation, I really needed!
Here´s a quick view from my room´s balcony ->

Yeay -> 2008 is almost over, and all I can think about is my 2-week trip to the Bahamas, and the 10.000 dollar buy-in EPT Bahamas - Carribean Adventure poker tournament. Cross your fingers for me - I really can use every support I can get, against this highly competitive field!
When I come home, it´s almost time for our Webmasters on the Roof Hörertreffen! Can´t wait for this party to happen - it´s gonna rock big time!
Right after that I´m off to London for CAP London - go CAP! Then it´s time for “Mit Affiliate geht´s bergab” - the Affiliates on snow superevent by the Affiliate-Eventmasters Jens & Markus! Unfortunatly probably the only time I´ll be able to be standing on my snowboard this year, since I´ll be flying off to Rio de Janeiro for SEO de Janeiro a few days later. Pretty busy first two months of 2009…
Regarding 2009, I just wanna make 3 quick SEOish predictions:
1) Eric Schmidt will be leaving Google
2) Google will drop pagerank from their toolbar (just another perfect way to combat link-buying & -selling)
3) SEO will get uber-competitive. In these financially crucial times, SEO (and therefore “free traffic“) will be on everybody´s mind. But you´ll also see a lot of even big companies turn to the w
