for the exhibit i produced a new body of work unique to my typical medium of wood panel.
all works were initiated by a graphite drawing then colored in with inks and gouache.
the process involves mostly drawing.. so i think it's safe to call these illustrations or watercolor works.
it's been a busy year, painting constantly, always hustling bustling... its was very good to take time and focus on the simple things.. to me that is the act of drawing. playful, spontaneous, quick to execute, space for ideas. it was nice to reconnect with these elements while working on these pieces.below are images of the works, click the thumbs to open full image.
