We’re flattered to share with you some more exciting news, by way of this video from CNN’s broadcast yesterday from the disaster area in Iowa. American Red Cross staff and volunteers have been using our service to post updates live from their relief efforts and, again, many thanks to a member of the Utterz community and an Utterz Ambassador (@001BrettBum) for providing the training last month that helped to make this happen.

As we pointed out yesterday, Computer World recently published an excellent article highlighting the role Utterz and Utterz cross-posting connections are playing in assisting the disaster relief efforts of the American Red Cross, "to help relay information to storm victims and Red Cross volunteers in areas affected by the natural disasters, according to Harman, who is senior specialist for interactive media at the Red Cross."

While ReadWritWeb also published a similar posty that details the American Red Cross’s adoption of Utterz "to spread information to the press and people affected by the severe weather."
