- Mangaka Hospitalisation: Rozen Maiden manga SuspendedDecember 16 2008

Half of the lady mangaka duo that is PEACH-PIT has been hospitalised with what looks to be a serious, though not life threatening, illness.
As a result, the busy group is forced to suspend publication of no less than three titles: Rozen Maiden, Zombie-Loan, and Shugo Chara.
It looks as though there is no danger of a permanent cessation, but the timeframe for resuming publication is not clear.
Their announcement reads as follows:
In this month’s editions of GFantasy, Young Jump and Nakayoshi, the latest chapters of ZOMBIE-LOAN, Rozen Maiden and Shugo Chara will not be appearing.
Due to a sudden illness, the author must unfortunately suspend publication.
To all those anticipating the latest editions, we apologise unreservedly.
We tried to arrange matters so a suspension would not be required, but it just wasn’t possible.

In the words of www.sankakucomplex.comIn a shocking an unexpected development, crazy shrine maiden manga Kannagei has ceased publication indefinitely. Fingers have instantly been pointed at the recent extreme actions of otaku “fans”.
The announcement, carried in the latest issue of ComicREX (where Kannagi is serialised), states that the health of mangaka 武梨えり/ Eri Takenashi is unsound, and so publication is to be suspended with immediate effect.
The magazine begs the forbearance of fans in awaiting further developments, but gives no timeframe for a resumption of publication, and gives no further information on what prompted the suspension.
Could it be that Otakus have the power to control editorials or mangakas?, you can blame the fans but I can bet that the pressure and stress that the editorials gives to mangakas are the real reason of the illness of course pressure that came from the last Otaku rage about the second hand waifu incident

After 4 days from the relase of the Kannagi DVD, most fans are selling them even at half price, this people seem to get the DVDs from preorder, but when they realized that her Goddess Waifu maybe is not as pure as they like, fans are getting rid of their Nagi mercandize.
