A Change in ProvisioningOctober 2 2008
Soon (for LifeCast 1.2) we are going to move LifeCast from it's current provisioning profile to SleepyDog's account - this is going to cause upheaval for which we apologise in advance.

I've blogged about the why and the wherefore on the lifecast blog here

As always we welcome your thoughts and if you have an alternate solution or are able to get us on the Apple inside track - then get in touch!

Regards
D.

Can you introduce a paid version so we can get rid of the badge?September 3 2008
I completely understand that you're trying to get the word out on your app, but I really don't like "posted with [X]" badges in my entries. I'd be much happier to spend $5 on a LifeCast Pro version or something with the option of using that badge (ideally off by default in the paid version) instead of being forced to.
Introducing reblogr.comSeptember 1 2008
To facilitate LifeCast and LifeCast Pro we have devised a server side technology called reblogr.com. Written in Ruby and with an exposed restful API, reblogr.com facilitates client blogging applications by offering a service list to the client and relaying data between the client and the target API.

The upshot of this is the client application need only talk to reblogr.com rather than having to talk directly to each and every API it offers services for.

A great benefit of using this client/server blogging technology is that development speed will increase as most of the really difficult stuff will now be done server side rather than client side; although this technology wont negate the need for client updates it will minimise them.

A brief visual overview of reblogr.com technology can be found here
