An e-mail between ‘friends’.Yesterday

From JFriend to Me:

You don’t have to be invited. Just say your coming over.

From Me to JFriend:

You used the wrong ‘your’. You said “Just say your coming over” where ‘your’ is possessive. Since I cannot possess ‘over’ I think you meant “Just say you’re coming over.” Which in long term would mean “Just say you are coming over.” Which would be correct.

You’re welcome.

From JFriend To Me:

How about STFU!!!!!!

Some friends just don’t appreciate good grammar advice.

My eye candyNovember 19

For those who can’t read my protected posts… an old picture of Mr. C (taken on a spring break before we started dating) that I love. Maybe it’s the ‘I’m a bad ass’ look? (Which is probably mixed with being a little drunk?)

Mr. C=sexy

If you want the password to my protect posts, e-mail me at admin@jandjacres.com. There is some questionable content and therefore not everyone will get the password. B/c there are some things that some people (Hi mom!) just shouldn’t know about.

Also, if you’re the judgey type, better not ask me for a password. It’s only gonna get worse.

The Cheating Thing.November 18

November 18, 2008

Tonight I’m in Room 419 in Michigan. Actually, I was in this same room on October 12. Ugh.

Relationships intrigue me. I think I’ve said that before.

So when I got my hair done, my hairdresser filled me in on her own personal drama which led to her pending divorce. (Her husband was calling another girl and had her listed in his phone under a fake name, Hairdress kicked her husband out, he had a relationship with fake name girl, then decided he wanted to get back together with Hairdresser. She said no and filed for divorce. He now has a girlfriend. Their divorce is final next month.)

The crazy thing? She’s a year younger than me. With a kid. And going through all this shit b/c her husband decided to cheat. She seems to be doing okay about it and I was impressed that she kicked him out after finding out the first piece of information. How many females do that anymore? How many find stuff out like that and just blame themselves? Muddle through counseling only to find out that the husband doesn’t WANT to work on things?

I know everyone is different. And I don’t think less of women who take their husbands back after cheating, b/c that’s their decision.

But to me? I couldn’t do it. I would drive myself crazy doubting his every word, making

Note to self- knocked up styleNovember 15

After a “What if” discussion the night before revolving around the (remote) possibility that one of us could be laid off, do NOT say:

“We’re parents again!”

Because Mr. C will fail to hear the ‘again’ part and will say (loud enough to hurt your ears) “WHAT?” And you will have to say (quickly, before he has a heart attack) “Cats! Cats! I just filled out the paperwork to adopt the cats!!”

As a PS-Note to myself, Saying it like the above will also manage to make him forget to ask “How much were they?” because he is NOT going to like that answer.

On a side note: I went to the humane society and picked out two cats! As long as my application goes through, we should get our two new kitties next week sometime!
