Kris Kuksi’s - previously featured here - passionately awaited Imminent Utopia show will go on display at Joshua Liner Gallery tomorrow evening bringing you twisted gothic architecture on a microcosmic scale.

The exhibition will feature eleven (!) of Kuksi’s insanely detailed, demonic assemblage pieces.

As the show title suggests, Kuksi’s grandiose Imminent Utopia sculpture will form the centrepiece of the exhibition. Must. See.

Simultaneously on show are the works of Pat Rocha - highly plastic stills from a collective unconscious mid-20th-century past, painted in deeply complex, Eric Whitesque, semi-translucent layers o

Doc, you’d better back up!Yesterday

Once again, David Malki has gone completely, ingeniously mad with caricaturistic power and created a few delightful variations on one of my favourite movie themes ever.

But see for yourself:

If you can’t attend, make sure to at least read the insightful interview the lovely people over at Hi-Fructose recently held with Gail.

I love Andrew Foster’s art for many reasons, but mostly because of his bizarre obsession with piled girls in underwear. And socks! They’re a quintessential ingredient of the Fosteresque bildsprache.

If you too like socks and/or girls on piles, go see his Deep Thoughts solo show which opened at Robert Berman Gallery in Santa Monica the other day. It will remain on display until December 6.

All further details after this voluptuous flesh pyramid.
