- A day is still a day.April 3 2007
- Well, right after my very excited/enthused post some crappy things have come about. First I think I'm getting sick. I had an awful migrane last night that put me in tears. The headache continued to today which made work extremely fun (well, dancing to that one song was fun, but thats about it). Also last night the remote for my new TV ripped a key from my laptops keyboard, woohoo! I went to my mom's to get my motorcycle fired up, but she had taken the garage door opener to work with her, sweet! I came home and passed out for like 4 hours, which means I'll have a hard time sleeping tonight. Oh and when I went to do my practice for the night (violin that is) my E string snapped on me. Oh and that extended warranty plan I bought, dosen't cover strings! Fuck yeah! Well I should have read it better. However it will cover damage done of the wood breaks. So now I'm debating smashing it and bitching about it. Well, the dude who sold it to me was really nice though, I guess I'll see if it's cheap to get it fixed. I need to get something to hold the tuning pegs back, the damm things slip so easily, I play for 10 minutes then tune for 5. However I did make some progress in discovering all the notes that can be played on it. I was excited when it didn't sound absolutely awful. Oh and I think my TV's S-video is bad, it's giving me weird picture when I watch DVD's on it. There are some crappy things going on and I am pretty lonely, but I've done alot of crappy things to people (no, not to

- Back when I was in 8th grade I started listening to some opera and classical music. I was into Bocelli pretty hardcore back in the day and I fell in love with an insturment. For years I have wanted to learn it, but never did. Well, this weekend that finally changed. I am the very happy and satisfied owner of a new Violin. I'm working on the basics and have been all weekend. It's going to take me awhile but I'll get there eventually. I'm just very happy to have finally bought one and wanted to learn. Other than that news, which is by far the best, nothing much is new. I had a very eventful weekend actually mixed with some disapointment. After getting my violin on friday I headed back home to wait for a few hours until some folks from work and I went to see "Blades of Glory". It was amazing. After that we headed to Steak n' Shake for a late snack. I happened to run into a familiar face from high school. Aparently she is being deployed to Iraq very soon. Very sad news to hear but it was good seeing her again. Saturday was also somewhat exciting. I ran some errands in the morning, played some games in the afternoon and took a nap. I then got ready for the concert that night. Jacob, Susan and I attended the orchestra that night and were treated to a magnificent show. The guest soloist played a "Strad". Dosen't mean to much to many people (wiki it) but I was stunned. After the performance we went back home where and african american friend who will remain nameless was supposed to d
- Places I goMarch 19 2007
- It's been a bit since my last update and alot has been happening since then. The biggest and possibly most significant change is that I have finally moved out...kinda. The house I used to live in, in Beachwood, has sat vacant for a number of years now and with the few of us wanting to move out we decided to give it a shot. Barry, Jacob and I are now official tendents of a nifty old house in "da hood". It's a pretty large house, one full bathroom and no air conditioning at all but still comfortable. I spent a good deal of time in here, fixing things up with my dad and preparing the house down, and I gotta say I'm very happy how it turned out. Jacob's room got repainted and carpted and was freshened up. We washed alot of the house down and had the carpet cleaned as well. The best part of it all; I finally have a room! Yes, an above ground room with windows, a door, no cat litter and privacy. It's so weird, yet enjoyable. Other notable features include A NEW BED!!! And an excellent set of sheets and curtains that match them. For once I am very pleased with my living situaion and my sleeping at night. The rent here is cheap of course and the only bill we really need to pay is the internet. Other than that things are pretty good here. Expect a housewarming party in the near future. I'm still desperatly waitng for school to start. I spend most my nights going through Wikipedia and all my Spanish books just begging for any taste of learning I can get. Needless to say I'm desperate t
- Things I doMarch 4 2007
-
Things have been going very well as of late. A few things have happened to me that would be of interest I think. For anyone who cares/dosent know yet, I dumped Mel. I think it's been a solid month since I did it. Of course asking two diffrent people will result in two diffrent stories. I came to the conclusion she was going no where fast in life and that nothing would ever come in the relationship except me working and putting all the effort in. Theres alot of things I can complain about but I dont think it's worth my time anymore or all the stress. I dont think I'll be trying to date anyone for awhile after this, I could only do damage. As for the time being I fill my free time with the hobbies I once had. I have been going to perfromaces at Sevrence with friends and have all around been enjoying myself alot more. I hope I can keep enjoying the things I do and continue to move forward with life.
On another good note, Jacob and I have finally gotten a place to live. Shortly, within a week or so, we will be moving out to the old house on Halworth, that has laid vacant for over a year now. My dad has agreed to let us and eventually, Barry rent it out for a small price and live there while we work and go to school. I'm very happy to finally start out on my own, although it wont be as independent as it could be, it's still something.
Thats about all I have right now, as I seem to be in a worse and worse mood everyday. I think it's time to meet some new people already. - Look at me Mom and Dad!February 5 2007
- After a bit of a delay I finally was accepted into community college! Not my most proud moment ever but another step in the right direction. Now all I wait on is Kent to send the transcripts I requested then I go in and pick some classes. Not much going on beside that, just going to work everyday and trying to make some money. I started drinking alot of coffee lately. I dont know why but I like the stuff now, especially with some creamer and by some I mean alot. Also found a number of Aussie foods at the World Market, it's a tad expensive but it's worth it. Anywho, thats all for now.
