As Andre notes, this 5th of December will be the 75th anniversary of the Constitutional Amendment that repealed prohibition. How cool to celebrate with Birmingham’s Terminal and its readership than to attend their “Terminally Happy Hour” at Birmingham’s very own Speakeasy 1920.

First Katopodis, now the Mayor of Birmingham.
Not to say that we didn’t see it coming — Mayor Langford was arrested by Federal authorities today. He entered a not-guilty plea and was released on bond within hours of his arrest. More details at Wade on Birmingham.
