- Clorox Bleach Buys Burt's Bees for $925 million
- We're all scratching our heads here at ShaveReview trying to figure out how Oakland based Clorox will have the wherewithall to run a beauty business. The fact that Clorox paid four times sales for Burt's (projected to be $170 million) leads us to believe they feel quite confident about execution with Burt's existing sales force, or that the new "Green" product line will be just what the Clorox distribution pipe needs to offset a lackluster 1% quarterly decline in their core profits.
