Google Base is now offering more feedback on the performance of your Google Base items. Log in to your Google Base account and click on the new "Performance" tab.

You'll find information on how many items you have uploaded and how many of the items are active. You can also see how many clicks your items received on Google (e.g. on Product Search or on Real Estate search) and how many were retrieved through the Google Base Data API.
This new tool will allow you to spot trends with historical graphs of your account performance. You can also download detailed tables that show the performance of each of your top items.
You can have a complete look at the helpful tutorials available on the Google Base Help Center.

Here is the grouse against The Times of IndiaOne of my pictures got "flicked" from Flickr and got published in a supplement of TOI's called, "what's hot", dated 18th July'08. I happened to take a look at this supplement very much by chance. I have no idea, how many such images are being used on a daily basis - they could be anyones.
On contacting the editor, I was told that it is common practice to "use" free images from the net! Plagiarism in its full glory. They actually went ahead and used an image with "all rights reserved" clearly mentioned on my page. Nowhere does it say that this image is free to use. Since the time I have asked for compensation I have not received any response from them.Comments
